Without This You Can Never Change is lyric-driven, energetic electropop that’s a little bit indie and kind of rocks. In one sense, I was harking back to my roots in the music of New Order and in another way, I was influenced by the dynamic electro Goldfrapp were producing around this time. This album is edgier and more electronic than the debut Space March album but still retains a strong pop sensibility.
